Roosa Saarreharju
Aspiring Game Producer
About Me
Hello there!
I'm Roosa, a vibrant people- and game-loving neuroscience graduate who is working hard towards becoming a game producer!

I've always been interested in the sciences, especially human biosciences. This set me on track to studying biology and physiology in university, mastering in neuroscience and continuing towards a PhD. However, during my PhD studies, I realized the field of research did not feel like the right fit for me after all. I missed working closely with people and seeing tangible results from our work.
After some soul-searching, I realized one thing that had always been a constant in my life: video games. I'm a huge video game nerd and dreamed of making something so cool as a kid. But I'd never had the passion for arts or programming, so it felt like something unachievable. Fortunately, through friends in the industry, I now have learned that there is plenty I have to offer and my calling is in production.

My nature is a mix of analytical and emotional, with a love for coordination, people and processes. Some skills I highly value are empathetic communication, collaborative teamwork and a methodical approach to problem-solving. With experience in independent content creation and various team-leading opportunities, I always thrived the most when interacting with people.
People working in games are extremely talented and cool. As a Producer, I would want to support those individuals as best as possible and together create an environment where they can thrive!
